I have been working on jailbreak my android for the few days so far now because I started seeing the annoying error message as below on my phone.
It says "There is no enough space to receive the email. Please delete some of your unnecessary files." Then, I checked my android phone. As it says, there is no enough space in my phone because of those applications that I installed.
The problem of this Android OS is that I can install those android applications only to my device, not to the microSD card. If I can move those applications from my device to microSD card, that can gain not only more storage space but also more performance of my phone. For that, I have to "jailbreak my android" or "root my android." (*If you jailbreak your phone, you will not be able to get warranty for your phone, so please be careful when you do it.)
Before jailbreak my device, I would like to get bigger memory size microSD card. That will make more room to organize data files and applications.
I purchased it from Amazon Japan.
The 32 GB microSD card costs me 1,400 yen via Amazon Japan; which is a good deal, I guess considering those price I see in the electric stores in town.
(You can jump to the Amazon Japan page by clicking the image on above this.)
Now, I make the partition to split 32 GB space into two of 16 GB spaces - one 16 GB room for the applications and the other 16 GB room for my data files, such as pictures, movies, office documents, so on.
When you see the property of 32 GB microSD card, you will not see the exactly "32 GB." You see 30 GB instead. That's because for those memory card makers, 1 MB is 1,048,576 bytes, and 1 GB is 1,073,741,824 bytes. It's simply because the memory card makers and the OS makers use different scales for the memory sizes.
Now, I used "MiniTool Partition Wizard"for Windows OS to make the partition for the microSD card. It's easy to use. You can download it from here.
When you start the application, it will ask you what size partitions you want to make.
I set it 15 GB which is "the half of the 32 GB memory card" in Windows OS.
Confusing, right? *LOL*
Just click "OK" and it's done. It's simple, isn't it?
