Sightseeing in Tokyo

One of my friends, Spencer san, asked me where to visit in Tokyo for his friends. So, I made little sightseeing map that has the major sightseeing places in Tokyo; I would like to share it here as well.  Hope this helps you when you visit Tokyo too.     [Ito's Tokyo Sightseeing Map (via google map)] https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zK46ZF_JFf5I.kyP1XGt2j6Dk&usp=sharing     The biggest landmarks in Tokyo are Tokyo Sky Tree and Tokyo Tower. It costs some money to go up those towers; so if you would like to save money to see the view, Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building where you can see the entire Tokyo city for free should be one of your choice.     There are zoos, amusement parks, aquariums, just like other big cities. If you would like to see Japanese traditional places, some shinto shrines are recommended.     November sumo game has just started, so if you are interested in sumo, you can visit Ryogoku kokugika...

[INGRESS] Mission C.L.F.O.M 20151106 (2)

So, this is what I planned for the Mission C.L.F.O.M 20151106. For the plan, the bottom of the base triangle line is between Inari shrine and Hanawa post office.  Then from there, I was to make the triangles "grow." Among the Japanese Ingress players, the layered triangles are called "takenoko (bamboo shoot)" because of how they look like.        Well, they are close enough, I think.   So, first, I went to Taro station where was the top corner of the takenoko, I planned.  Because Taro station portal was belonged to the blue team, I had to make it belong to my green team side by destroying those resonators that were protecting the portal.    It did not take much for me because I used the strongest (level 8) weapons.       After I took the portal over from the blue team, I tried to make the link from there to Hanawa post office, but it did not work.   I thought...

[INGRESS] Mission C.L.F.O.M 20151106 (1)

Connecting 3 portals to make the triangle field more and bigger than your opponents is how you play Ingress.  Making the "layered" fields is challenging, but once you create them, it can give your opponents very hard time because those fields are very durable. (BTW, ain't they look beautiful too?)    So, my mission for this time is "C.L.F.O.M (Creating Layered Fields Over Miyako.)" This is how you make the layered fields.         First, you make the smallest one which is the triangle D-E-F.  Then, the next triangle is C-E-F, then B-E-F, and the last one is the triangle A-E-F.  You have to be careful that you will not be able to do anything inside the field once you create; for instance, if you create the triangle A-E-F first, then that will be it.  So, I was planning my layered field something like below:    I make the "bottom" of the triangle along the coast, and drive towards ...

[PolitiC@ Nippon] The incident called "Nanjing Massacre" and the first book from Ms. Toshiko Hasumi

This cartoon was made by Ms. Toshiko Hasumi. It says:   China: Hey little Japan, how dare you could make Nanjing population 250 thousands people by killing 300 thousands people out of 200 thousands people!? Japan: 200 thousands - 300 thousands = 250 thousands!? [enigma mathematics] And I could add these lines below from my experience:   Stupid English medias: Japan killed 250 thousand Chinese. Stupid English medias followers: JAPAN NEEDS TO APOLOGIZES TO CHINA!!! Somewhat, Japan is misunderstood by many people internationally, such as "Japanese soldiers kidnapped 200,000 Korean women and made them the sex slaves during the wars."  Now, it's becoming the big problem between Japan and Korea.  It's because Japanese government did not do anything about it when it came out as an issue. If you think of the number "200,000" sex slaves, it's easily find out that it cannot be possible. I guess Japan thought it's just ridiculous, so that...

November 4th, 2015 Miyako International Community Radio via Miyako Harbor Radio 82.6 FM [LIVE]

Producer: Hisao Hashimoto Assistant Producer: Saaya Tazawa Navigator: Hisako Yamaguchi Members: Toby Almy, Francis Yuen, Ben Pedersen, James Macrae Interpreter: Ito Shunsuke     "Where's Hashimoto san?  There he is.  Hashimoto san, get in the picture, please." "There comes James!!  Get in the picture, James!!"       So, that's how these three pictures came out.   They had 4 members this time and it made the show even more fun than the regular show ;)     In the show, Ben chan said that he has been writing the 200 pages novel about Halloween, which sounds very interesting to me because I love writing things too, but I have never tried writing 200 pages.  So, I am interested in how he organize the story in the novel. I am looking forward to read it when he done writing it.    James san mentioned that he, Toby san and Hashimoto san went shooting pool with other English...
