Never waste your time trying to explain who you are to people who are committed to misunderstanding you.

After all, what you see here are only the digital texts and images. Only what you believe are true. It doesn't have to be true to everyone, but you.

[INGRESS] Mission: S.S.M.G.M 20151030

Mt. Gassan is located the other side of the Miyako bay.  Since the season is autumn now, the leaves of the trees on Mt. Gassan have been changing their colors beautifully. In order to get there, it takes about 40 to 50 minutes driving from the central Miyako area.           I had decided my mission of ingress to there, Mt. Gassan, this time just because it looked beautiful. The intel map around Mt. Gassan looked as below in the Friday afternoon.                             The portal was captured by somebody from the blue team. (You can see couple blue triangles in the bottom of the map and the corner of the triangle is where Mt. Gassan is.)   So, my plan was getting to the top of the Mt. Gassan where the portal was, getting the portal back from the blue team, and making the link from there to the portals around Miyako.   The mission name was S.S.M.G.M (Shooting Stars from Mt. Gassan to Miyako.)  Well, creating the link from one portal to anothe

Assistant Producer: Fumihiko Hakoishi Navigator: Eri Ito Members: Yonae Rolle, Ben Pedersen Interpreter: Togo Sasaki, Ito "horsey" Shunsuke     Thank you very much for the great Halloween radio show, members and staffs ;) And thank you for coming with your Halloween costumes, members. That definitely got the atmosphere around the radio studio into the Halloween mode.   This picture below was taken just before the show at the waiting space.          From left to right: Mr. Togo Sasaki as the Rock Star Ms. Yonae Rolle as the Rock Teacher Ms. Eri Ito as the Rock Cat Girl Mr. Ben Pedersen as the Rock Wizard Everybody rocked. I was the Rock Horsey.          During the radio show, I was waving to the people who were passing in front of the radio studio. I saw most of them were freaked out by seeing me, the rock horsey.  Some of them saw me once, but they pretended they had not seeing me.  Another ones' faces got stoned when they saw me.

e-learning CPR and AED

I was studying about disaster prevention via e-learning, and found some interesting courses. There was a 90 minutes e-learning course about CPR and AED offered by the local fire department.   They ask me questions like every 3 minutes, so I could not cheat and say that I watched the whole thing. http://fire.miyako.iwate.jp/e-learning/   This course is in Japanese, but the contents are very similar to the youtube video as below:             I found that AED seems easier than I thought.   After I finished watching the show, they gave me the certification as below.                    Actually, I need to print this out for myself and write my name on it, but if I I  bring this to the local fire department, they will give me an hour off each courses for the disaster prevention.      After I complete the all courses from them, I can get the license of disaster prevention which I would like to try to get it sometime later.

Senbonzakura.

Byakuya Kiuchi is the one of the character of "Bleach," the Japanese cartoon.  He has one of the sword technique whose name is "senbonzakura," the sword passes through the ground and two rows of giant blades rise up from the ground. These then scatter into millions of tiny blades. The number of blades is great enough that Byakuya can use them for defense and offence at the same time. He commonly forms them into large masses of blades to crush opponents.   Ref:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byakuya_Kuchiki     This is how senbonzakura looks like:         And when I was driving this road in this morning,     I was like

Point Cards

I found my lost wallet about a week ago, and I learned something by that.  Which is:     "I did not need my point cards."     You can save some money by using the point cards of the stores. Every time you purchase at the store and let them scan your point card, they give you some points depends on how much you purchase there.  Like when you purchase 50,000 yen total at the store, they give you 500 points which worth 500 yen value.      But,     - The point you earned can be used only at their store.  (There are some cards, you can get/use the points at any stores wherever they accept their point card, but I've heard the rumor that they are correcting those purchase information for whatever the reasons. Which sounds little creepy to me.)     - You have to carry the bunch of point cards all the time. (Well, you don't have to. But I tend to forget the point cards whenever I go shopping at the stores.  So, I carry all of them pretty much all the time

[INGRESS] Mission: R.P.L.M 20151023

One of my teammates in the green team said that INGRESS had become boring since the other blue team stopped attacking.  Then, the territories of green team in Miyako had been staying the same for couple weeks already. So, I checked it on the Intel Map. I saw the portals that do not have enough energy level on the resonators and not even the enough number of resonators themselves.  I found some things to do for them already just by looking on the map, so there are some more things to do.     So, I decided to go for the mission R.P.L.M (Restoring the Portals and Links in Miyako) by myself;  I printed out the map and wrote my strategy in it. I went CCW (counter clockwise) south part of Miyako, starting from the portal at Hanawa Post Office, then, Toyomane Post Office, Ito-En vending machine, Lawson Kanehama, and Yagisawa shrine.  When I was at Hanawa Post Office, I could not get the portal key to make the link from the other portals to the one at Hanawa Post Office.

[Origami] Pegasus

I don't know what to write on my blog these days. So, I tried origami, so I could take the picture of my origami work, upload to my blog and say "Hey, look what I made!!  Isn't it COOL!?"   My expectation for my origami work is something like this.   You can see the instruction of how to fold the paper on Youtube too. I used the newspaper instead of the origami paper since it's bigger and I am not very good at small and detailed work.  It took about 20 minutes for me to find out     Well.  I try it again later when I feel like to.

October 21st, 2015 Miyako International Community Radio via Miyako Harbor Radio 82.6 FM [LIVE]

Assistant Producer: Yuri Kimura Navigator: Hisako Yamaguchi Members: Adam Ramli, Ben Pedersen Interpreter: Togo Sasaki, Ito Shunsuke Thank you very much for the great show as always, the radio members and staffs!! The Halloween is the end of the month, so they and I talk about it as the topic this time. It's one of the biggest evens of the year both in England where Adam san is from and in US where Ben chan is from. Ben chan had dressed the costume of  Luck Skywaler from the movie Star Wars. I am wonder if the people who wore the Darth Vader costumes said him "Come, my son." Or he ran to the people with Darth Vader saying "Daaaaaaaaaaaaad!!"  Well. When they talked about the candies the kids can get for the Halloween, Adam san mentioned the "Kit Kat Big Kat."  I thought I had seen it in Japan, but neither Togo san nor Hisako san know about it.  It was kinda weird.  Or I was weird.  Don't they have it in Japan?       W

[INGRESS] Inviolable Black Triangle

I opened the Ingress application for the android first time after my long absence from it. I found the three portals that are forming the black triangle that is almost impossible. If three portals are connected to form the triangle, it will be the filled (colored) triangle, but it was not. It could happen when it was not actually triangle, but quadrangle when you look it closer. Well, I went around to see what's happening there.  I thought I could connect them to make the filled (colored) triangle.    At the first corner of the triangle, it said "there is no portal you can connect to from here," so I moved to the second corner of the triangle.            At the second corner of the triangle, it said "there is no portal you can connect to from here," so I moved to the third corner of the triangle.       At the third corner of the triangle, it said "there is no portal you can connect to from here."

I FOUND IT!!!

Yes, finally, I found my wallet!!!  It was being stuck between the driving side car seat and the car door.  I was like        Seriously.   I think that this wallet took a walk for couple weeks and just came back and pretending like nothing had happened.   So, I checked what I had inside my wallet, and there were     1. Money  I had 4,431 yen!! *yay*   But I had gave up for the money in my wallet after I lost it, but I am happy that they have been back, of course.          2. Cards   I also had those member's card and point cards back too!!  *yay*     In the top row, from left to right:  LAWSON point card, cash card #1, Kuroneko delivery service membership card, Tsuruha drug store membership card, cash card #2, Aoyama the suits store membership card, Car wash membership card, Dounel bakery membership card...     In the  bottom row, from left to right: Blood donation card, K's denki electronics store membership car

Creating the moon in 3 seconds.

I had read the website that you can create the moon in 3 seconds. I really wanted to try it, so I ran to the Miyako station to take a picture that I need. And came back to do some magic work, then I made the image on above.   All you need are:   1. The picture that you would like to create the moon in.         2. The picture of the pot.  3. Photoshop or image edit software.  (I used the free online image editor, PixLR  http://www.pixlr.com )  [Procedures] 1. Cut the bottom of the pot in the picture by photo editor, and put it into the night view picture. 2. Make some adjustment. (size, color, opacity, etc.) 3. DONE.      [Reference] Creating the moon in 3 seconds (Japanese) http://kaola.jp/2015/10/19/391244/ When I was taking the picture at the Miyako station, one of my friends came to me to ask what I am doing. Mr. K: Hey, Ito.  What's up? Ito: I am creating the moon. Mr. K: The moon is not where you are pointing you
