September 23th, 2015 Miyako International Community Radio via Miyako Harbor Radio 82.6 FM [LIVE]

Producer: Hisao Hashimoto
Navigator: Saaya Tazawa
Members: Adam Ramli, Hisako Yamaguchi
Interpreter: Togo Sasaki, Ito Shunsuke

Thank you very much for the great show as always, folks.
Because Eri san was away with her samurai group to do some presentation for the 400th anniversary of Miyako port, Then, Yamaguchi san was there for the substitution of Eri san.
But because Yamaguchi san was little nervous and was not comfortable to be the navigator, So, Saaya san from Miyako harbor radio was in charge for the navigator, and she did the excellent work.

For the show, we were mainly talking about how Adam san spent his silver week holidays since he was the only one gaikokujin member there.  He said he ate SOWRDFISH for the first time at the sea food festival.
Togo san, tried to interpret the word SOWRDFISH into Japanese, so I got in to help him.
I knew how the swordfish look like:

"Swordfish commonly reach 3 m (9.8 ft) in length, and the maximum reported is 4.55 m (14.9 ft) in length and 650 kg (1,430 lb) in weight."

However, somewhat, I interpreted SOWRDFISH as "sanma" which means saury in Japanese.

"Saury can grow to a size of about 5 cm (1.97 inches.)"

When I noticed to the mistake, I corrected it.
Then, Togo san asked Adam san if Adam san know saury fish.
He said no, but he knows "saury" as the name of some Japanese girls'.

Yeah, we were lost in the translation again, but it was fun as always.
Thank you very much again and I will see you at the next show!!

Don't Drive and INGRESS

INGRESS is an interesting smartphone game and I have been playing months now. What is INGRESS?  Here's a wiki. Ingress (game) via Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingress_(game) Players have to move around their towns for this game, so some players walk, another players use their bikes, and others drive. But you have to be very careful when you play this game and drive your car at the same time. When you get caught by watching smartphone while your are driving, you will get 1 penalty point on your driver's license and also the ticket cost you 6,000 yen. How do I know about it?

[PolitiC@Nippon] Ryukougo Taisho 2016: Japan’s Most Vogue Words of the Year

Ryukougo Taisho is one of the unique events of Japan. In the end of the year, they choose the buzzing words that everyone is using them in common during the year from TV shows, dramas, news, so on. (Sometime, it's not really used in common, but they pick those words anyway.) Last year, they chose some words from from politic, such as Abe Seiji wo Yurasanai (or "We won't tolerate Abe's politics") SEALDs, the "youth (well, there are some young folks but mostly old folks in their 60s and 70s) group" going against to Abe's politics) and so on. Blogs and AdSense (2)

Blogs and AdSense http://itoshunsuke.blogspot.jp/2015/07/blogs-and-adsense.html     When I see my Adsense page today, I see some numbers!! *Yay* Last time I open this page after years about 10 days ago, I found that I had made only 78 yen, and other numbers on the list were zero yen. But now, I see "+224 yen!!" This is GOOD. I will donate whatever I make from my blogs to the city of Miyako. Then, hopefully the city of Miyako will let people know by saying "The blogger, Ito Shunsuke, from Miyako has donated 10,000 yen!!" on city paper. So, I will get more traffic, and it will make even more money. Then, I probably can donate 100,000 yen next year, and 1,000,000 yen for the following year, so on. When it reach to 10,000,000 yen, I will say       *LOL*
