Last Wednesday, one of my friends help me drive to Kamaishi.
When he and I got in to Kamaishi, there were many people and police were on the street.
I was curious what was happening in Kamaishi.
When he and I stopped at the red light, couple people came to the car window and knocked.
That's what I thought because you don't get your car window knocked while you are driving or stopping at the traffic light.
Fortunately, the one who knocked was not a zombie person.
When my friend opened his side of the car window for the person, he handed my friend the packages as below:
What inside were:
- 1 Safety light for bicycle
- 1 pocket tissue
- 2 chewing gums (It says "chuui 'n gum" and "chuui" means "caution" in Japanese; it's just a pun.)
- 3 papers says "drive safe"
- 1 donuts
I got curious why they were giving the donuts away.
And because this picture came into my mind, I could not stop laughing for a while *LOL*
I found the reason on the paper in the package, that they gave him and me, said
"ZERO death from traffic accident is our goal for September 30th."
So, because the shape of the ZERO, "0," is the same as the donuts, they were giving the donuts away.
Anyway, I got my driver's license re-issued without any problems.
