[INGRESS] Mission: S.S.M.G.M 20151030

   

Mt. Gassan is located the other side of the Miyako bay. 
Since the season is autumn now, the leaves of the trees on Mt. Gassan have been changing their colors beautifully.
In order to get there, it takes about 40 to 50 minutes driving from the central Miyako area. 
  
     
I had decided my mission of ingress to there, Mt. Gassan, this time just because it looked beautiful.
The intel map around Mt. Gassan looked as below in the Friday afternoon. 
       
      
        
  
The portal was captured by somebody from the blue team.
(You can see couple blue triangles in the bottom of the map and the corner of the triangle is where Mt. Gassan is.)   So, my plan was getting to the top of the Mt. Gassan where the portal was, getting the portal back from the blue team, and making the link from there to the portals around Miyako.  
The mission name was S.S.M.G.M (Shooting Stars from Mt. Gassan to Miyako.) 
Well, creating the link from one portal to another ones makes me feel like I am shooting stars from one to another ones.  That's how it was named.   
    
   
      
     
But before I was going to Mt. Gassan, it was getting dark. 
So, I was feeling like doing the mission another day. 
Yet, by checking the intel map from my phone changed my mind. 
      
    
  
  
It looked like entire Miyako got sunk under water!! 
Somebody from the blue team did this "flood"by making huge triangle links.   
This image reminded me the tsunami, and I got little upset about this even though this was just a game. 
      
      
    
     
That was enough reason for me to drive to Mt. Gassan in the dark to get the portal there. 
On the way to the top of Mt. Gassan, it was dark and freaky, and the road of the mountain was very rough. 
Actually, I bumped the bottom of the car to the rocks there couple times. 
Every time it happened, I said "OUCH!" because I could feel the pain of my car. 
I felt sorry to my car by doing it even it was not on purpose. 
It took me about 50 minutes to get to the top of Mt. Gassan. 
As soon as I reached there, I started firing my weapons. 
Then, I saw somebody from the blue team, who had the access to the portal, started recovering the damage remotely.  I kept shooting my level 4 weapons, then level 5.. when I got almost out of level 6 weapons, I did destroy all of their resonators that were protecting the portal completely. 
So, I capture the portal there into green, and I started "shooting stars" to the portals in Miyako. 
   
     
        
   
It made me feel absolutely better.   
    
     
    
    
So, *MISSION COMPLETED.*
When I got back to Miyako, it was late in the night :P

The Coffee Vending Machine

   When I was buying a cup of coffee from the vending machine, it made a big sound and shook itself a little.  It sounded like somebody inside hit his/her head somewhere there.  I was so curious but I was not brave enough to peep inside the machine because I had a feeling that if I peep inside, he or she inside would be attacking my eyes.

Miyako Autumn Festival 2016

For Miyako Autumn Festival 2016, Adam and Patricia were practicing taiko drum to participate to the Yamaguchi Taiko Drum demonstration.  When I was watching their demonstration, I could find Patricia, but Adam.  I was looking around for him so hard, but I could not find him at all.  I thought he might be feeling sick and he could not make it.  BUT, later, I found that he was on the other side of the mikoshi shrine.  That was shame that I could not capture his taiko drum playing in the video.   When I was browsing around, I saw one of my classmate from my junior high school. She was about to play one of the games, kan-otoshi, there.   The rule of kan-otoshi game is that you throw a bag full of sands to the cans to knock them down.  Then, you get prize according to how many cans you knock down.  More cans you knock, bigger prize you get.      Classmate:  Hey, what if I make all of them fallen dow...
